Jharkhand High Court seeks report from government, RMC on sewerage system

The Jharkhand High Court has directed the state government and Ranchi Municipal Corporation to submit a status report on sewage and drainage system construction and upkeep. A public interest litigation highlighted the poor condition of city streets and drainage. The court was informed about the division of the sewerage system into four zones, with work underway in Zone 1.
