Odisha government to restore Rabindranath Tagore’s Puri house as museum

Odisha government will restore Rabindranath Tagore’s ancestral residence in Puri, ‘Pather Puri’, and convert it into a museum. The state also announced a special pavilion at Bali Yatra to showcase Odia writers, with Indonesia as partner country and a South Asian cultural exchange. Financial aid will be extended to Gajalaxmi Puja festivals, and recruitment in cultural institutions will be expedited.
