Justice Soumen Sen assumes charge as Meghalaya HC chief justice

Justice Soumen Sen was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court on Wednesday. Governor Chandrashekhar H Vijayashankar administered the oath of office. Justice Sen, an eminent jurist with extensive experience, was appointed by President Droupadi Murmu following a Supreme Court collegium recommendation.
