Indore: Lokayukta traps Janpad Panchayat CEO; accepts Rs 20,000 bribe

The Ujjain Lokayukta team apprehended Rajesh Soni, the Janpad Panchayat CEO of Tonk Khurd, for accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000. Soni was caught red-handed while receiving the payment from a Rojgar Sahayak who alleged the bribe was demanded for a transfer. The operation followed a complaint and subsequent inquiry confirming the allegations.
