A young female elephant, aged 10-12, has died from severe leg injuries sustained in Saranda forest. Despite veterinary and zoo rescue efforts, the elephant succumbed to wounds similar to previous incidents, with the cause, possibly an IED, unconfirmed. The animal was found in pain on October 7th.
