Mangaluru: Father Muller team performs rare kidney cancer surgery using advanced circulatory arrest technique

A multidisciplinary team at Father Muller Medical College successfully performed a complex right radical nephrectomy with IVC thrombectomy on a 58-year-old man. The advanced procedure utilized total circulatory arrest via cardiopulmonary bypass to safely remove a Level III IVC thrombus. The patient recovered well and was discharged in stable condition.
