Gajalaxmi Puja ends with grand immersion ceremony in Kendrapada

Kendrapada’s eight-day Gajalaxmi Puja concluded with the immersion of 68 idols, drawing hundreds of devotees along a 4km route. The festival, dedicated to Maa Laxmi and originating in 1928, saw elaborate security arrangements with 30 platoons of police deployed for the smooth conduct of the ceremony.
