A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment by a fast-track special court in Jagatsinghpur for raping a 16-year-old girl in 2021. The court also ordered a Rs 5 lakh compensation for the victim. Nineteen witnesses testified during the trial.
