Assam varsity to erect icon’s statue, name auditorium after Zubeen

Assam University will honour Zubeen Garg by naming its new 500-seater auditorium after him and installing his statue. The university’s executive council approved this tribute, with the vice-chancellor seeking additional funds from the Assam CM for swift completion. The Diphu Campus will also dedicate its conference hall to the artist.
