Confusion erupted in Madhepura’s RJD unit as Shantanu Bundela, initially favored for the assembly ticket, was unexpectedly replaced by sitting MLA Chandrashekhar. Pranav Prakash, also denied the ticket, filed as an independent after assurances were reportedly withdrawn.
