DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar suspended also booked by Punjab police in Excise Act case

Punjab government has suspended Deputy Inspector General Harcharan Singh Bhullar following his arrest by the CBI in a graft case. The suspension is effective from October 16, 2025, as per service rules. CBI searches at his residence uncovered Rs 7.5 crore cash, gold, luxury watches, property documents, and firearms.
