Nagaland service body to continue pen-down strike

State service associations in Nagaland continue their pen-down strike, launched on October 14, over the selection of non-state cadre officers into the IAS. A meeting with the cabinet sub-committee yielded no resolution, with the committee unable to accede to demands for transparency and meritocracy. The matter will now be placed before the state cabinet for a decision.
