West Bengal: Female doctor assaulted at Uluberia hospital during patient dispute

Two people were arrested early Tuesday after assaulting a female gynecologist at Uluberia Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay Government Medical College and Hospital. The doctor was physically assaulted, verbally abused, and threatened by relatives of a patient. Police reviewed CCTV footage following the doctor’s complaint. Three others were detained for questioning regarding the incident that occurred Monday evening.
