Taraon Mishmi language writing workshop organised

A workshop in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lohit district focused on enhancing skills in the Taraon (Tawra) Mishmi language writing system. Organised by Joken EteTezu and Bamboos Library, the event highlighted the importance of preserving the mother tongue, tracing its origins to Tibet. Participants learned pronunciation and writing techniques, with a commitment made to promote the language.
