9 shops gutted in Tirap market fire

At least nine shops were destroyed in a fire at Khonsa market in Tirap district on Monday night. The blaze, believed to have been caused by Diwali firecrackers, was brought under control with the help of multiple agencies and local volunteers. Officials visited the market on Tuesday to assess the extensive damage.
