Social media giant Reddit has filed a lawsuit against AI startup Perplexity and three data-scraping companies, alleging unlawful scraping of Reddit’s data to train Perplexity’s AI. Reddit claims these firms circumvented its protections to steal content, despite Perplexity lacking a license.
