Pune Grand Tour awarded UCI Class 2.2 status: India’s landmark pro stage race set for January 2026

India is set to host its first-ever multi-stage professional road race, the Pune Grand Tour (PGT) 2026, with UCI Class 2.2 status. Scheduled from January 19-23, 2026, the four-stage, 437 km race will traverse Pune district, offering Olympic qualification points and aiming to put India on the global cycling map.
