Amazon executive behind Echo voice assistant speaker and Fire tablets is leaving

A top Amazon executive, Lindo St. Angel, instrumental in developing iconic gadgets like the Echo and Fire tablets, is departing the company next week. This marks the second significant exit from the devices division this month, following Rob Williams. St. Angel will advise on an advisory basis until year-end as the unit navigates unprofitability and product line overhauls.
