Over 30 passengers had a narrow escape when a Ranchi-bound bus caught fire on the Ranchi-Lohardaga highway near Mandar Bazar. The fire, suspected to be from a short circuit near the battery box, was quickly doused by locals and police. All passengers alighted safely, with no injuries reported.
