Trinamool MP Sushmita slams Assam CM Himanta for civic polls delay

TMC MP Sushmita Dev has accused Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma of misleading Silchar residents with Rs 1,000 crore project announcements while delaying municipal elections for five years. Dev criticized Sarma’s excuses for the poll delay, calling them shameful and questioning the BJP government’s development promises in the Barak Valley.
