The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the hearing on the bail pleas of activists Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, and others in the Delhi riots UAPA case until October 31. The court granted time to the Delhi Police to file a reply after the Additional Solicitor General sought a two-week extension.
