AIADMK: Edappadi K. Palaniswami removes K. A. Sengottaiyan and supporters from party posts

Edappadi K. Palaniswami sacked K A Sengottaiyan from party positions. This action followed Sengottaiyan’s ultimatum to reinstate removed members. Palaniswami also dismissed supporters who met with Sengottaiyan. The AIADMK release confirmed Sengottaiyan’s removal as organization secretary and Erode Suburban West District Secretary. Palaniswami’s decision came after a meeting with senior functionaries in Dindigul. Several other leaders also lost their positions.
