Amar jawan memorial in Hudikeri honors Kodagu military heritage

Hudikeri is set to unveil the Amar Jawan Memorial on October 27. This memorial honors Kodagu’s military heritage and its ex-servicemen. The Hudikeri Ex-Servicemen’s Association spearheaded the project. The memorial features a rifle and helmet symbol. A hall dedicated to martyred soldier Kechamada Tilak will also house information on Kodagu’s military figures.
