The Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) is intensifying financial investigations to seize assets of ganja smugglers profiting from the high demand for “Sheelavathi” cannabis. They’ve identified twelve smugglers with illegal assets, seeking support from other states to expose interstate operations. Recent seizures include properties worth lakhs from smugglers in ASR and Vizianagaram districts, funded through cannabis trafficking.
