Anuparna Roy’s directorial debut, ‘Songs of Forgotten Trees’, is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Anurag Kashyap is presenting the film. It is India’s only selection in the Horizons strand. The film stars Naaz Shaikh and Sumi Baghel. It explores the lives of two migrant women in Mumbai. They find empathy amidst personal struggles.
