Apple adds more iPhone models to vintage list ahead of September 9 iPhone 17 launch

Apple has updated its product lifecycle, adding the iPhone XS and 8 Plus to the vintage list as the iPhone 17 launch approaches. While these models may still receive repairs depending on part availability, the fifth-generation iPad is now obsolete, ending official hardware service. A caveat was also added for the 2018 Mac mini.
