Director AR Murugadoss and actor Vijay created hit movies. After ‘Kaththi’, Murugadoss wanted to film a travel story. Vijay would have worn a lungi and shirt. The film involved a Sri Lankan refugee. It was planned to be shot in India, Thailand, and Canada. Vijay then chose a political story, which became ‘Sarkar’. The travel film did not happen.
