Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis sets new pole vault world record of 6.29m
Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis achieved a new pole vault world record, clearing 6.29 metres in Budapest, marking his 13th world record. The Swedish athlete surpassed his previous record of 6.28m set in Stockholm. He won his 33rd competition, ahead of Emmanouil Karalis and Kurtis Marschall. Duplantis is now the favourite for a third consecutive outdoor world title in Tokyo.
