ASI to document, conserve 120 rock art sites in Odisha
The Archaeological Survey of India plans to document and conserve approximately 120 rock art sites across Odisha. Currently, conservation efforts are underway at Vikramkhol, the state’s sole ASI-protected rock art site, which features geometric and non-geometric figures, animal footprints, and inscription-like signs. These sites offer valuable insights into prehistoric life and culture.
