R Ashwin has revealed his predicted India XI for the Asia Cup 2025 opener against UAE, notably excluding Sanju Samson. Ashwin backs Shubman Gill to open alongside Abhishek Sharma and also to be the tournament’s highest scorer. He prefers Jitesh Sharma over Samson as a finisher.
