Assam cabinet okays tabling of Nellie massacre report

Assam’s cabinet has approved the tabling of the long-suppressed Tewary Commission report on the 1983 Nellie massacre, where over 2,000 people were killed. Submitted in 1984, the 600-page report remained classified for over four decades.
