Assam cabinet opens door for talks with tribal groups on ST status row

In a proactive move, the Assam cabinet is set to hold talks with the Coordination Committee of Tribal Organisations of Assam (CCTOA) concerning the proposed Scheduled Tribe status for six Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities.
