Assam tea garden youths to get 3% quota in Class I & II jobs: Himanta

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a 3% reservation for tea garden youths in Class I and Class II government jobs, including ACS and APS positions. This initiative aims to integrate the tea community into the mainstream and foster overall state progress. The reservation will be implemented this year, with successful candidates receiving appointment letters in a special ceremony.
