Azamgarh encounter: STF guns down dreaded cattle smuggler; Waqif had Rs 50,000 bounty on head

A notorious criminal, Waqif, carrying a Rs 50,000 reward, was killed in an encounter with cattle smugglers in Azamgarh district. Waqif, wanted for multiple serious offenses including murder and cow smuggling, was shot by police during a cordon operation. Three associates managed to escape and are now being sought.
