Betting app-addict PhD holder defrauds Pune institute of Rs 2.5 crore

A PhD holder from Hyderabad, with degrees from London universities, was arrested by Pune cyber police for allegedly defrauding an educational institution of Rs 2.46 crore. Seetaiah Kilaru, impersonating an IIT professor, promised government funding for research projects in drones and AI. Police recovered significant assets and discovered his involvement in similar scams and online betting.
