Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation manages 20 tonnes of firecracker waste post-Diwali

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tackled an additional 20 tonnes of firecracker debris post-Diwali. Officials ensured main roads were cleared promptly, with some colony lanes addressed later. Unlike previous years, this segregated waste, containing chemicals and paper, is directly sent to a temporary station for processing into refuse-derived fuel for cement factories.
