BJP members of CADC seek compensation for border fencing victims

A BJP delegation from Mizoram’s Chakma Autonomous District Council met with the MHA secretary in New Delhi to demand pending compensation for land acquired for Indo-Bangladesh border fencing. Despite a Gauhati High Court order directing the NPCC to deposit over Rs 31.99 crore with interest, payment remains outstanding, affecting 576 families. The delegation urged immediate compliance with the court’s directive.
