BMC plans earmarked area for street vendors

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation is establishing a dedicated ‘gupchup corner’ near Regional Institute of Education to organize street vendors and reduce traffic congestion. This initiative aims to relocate vendors from Saheed Nagar, providing them with a clean, safe, and organized space with parking and specific business hours. The move prioritizes hygiene and city order, with strict vendor rules to be enforced.
