BPIA to rope in private party to study birds and suggest mitigation plans

Bhubaneswar airport is engaging experts to study bird behavior within a 10-km radius to address the bird menace. The survey aims to identify avian species, their origins, and attractants like nearby markets, enabling targeted mitigation strategies. This comes after the DGCA urged the closure of slaughterhouses within the prohibited zone to reduce bird congregations.
