BSNL to enhance communication and security with 4G network in border areas of Meghalaya, Mizoram & Tripura

BSNL is installing indigenous 4G mobile towers along India-Bangladesh and India-Myanmar borders in Meghalaya and Mizoram by December, with Tripura following. This DBN-funded project aims to enhance security for border forces and provide better communication to residents, with plans for 5G upgrades. Overall, 1278 towers will cover the region.
