BSPGCL signs power supply agreement with Adani Power for Pirpainti plant

Bihar’s power sector received a significant boost as BSPGCL inked a long-term power supply agreement with Adani Power for the Pirpainti thermal power project. This Rs 30,000 crore project, slated for Bhagalpur, marks the largest investment in the state’s energy sector post-independence. The first unit is targeted for commissioning by Diwali 2028, promising enhanced power generation and employment opportunities.
