Burglary at former Karnataka DGP’s Lucknow home; gold, cash worth lakhs stolen while family abroad

Thieves broke into the Aliganj home of former Karnataka DGP Mahendra Kumar Srivastava’s family. Jewellery and cash worth several lakhs were stolen. The incident came to light when the house help returned. The family was abroad at the time. Police are investigating and questioning suspects. CCTV footage is being examined.
