Campaigning for Dampa bypoll ends, ‘silent period’ till tomorrow

The campaign for Mizoram’s Dampa assembly constituency by-election concluded Sunday, with a silent period now in effect until Tuesday’s polling. Six polling parties have already departed for remote stations along the Bangladesh border, while the remaining 35 will leave Monday.
