Cash haul row: Justice Varma moves SC; claims he wasn’t ‘given fair opportunity’

Justice Yashwant Varma of Allahabad High Court has petitioned the Supreme Court, contesting an inquiry report and a recommendation for impeachment proceedings against him. He claims the inquiry committee denied him a fair chance to respond before issuing its findings. The plea precedes Parliament’s monsoon session, starting July 21.
