Cash and valuables worth Rs 18 lakh were stolen from the Chatra home of retired BSF jawan Aditya Prasad Soni on Friday. Thieves broke into his Brahmpur village residence while his family was away, forcing open a locker to take Rs 1.5 lakh cash, 5 kg silver, and gold ornaments.
