Ranchi RPF Rescues Three Minors from Human Trafficking at Railway Station
Railway Protection Force and intelligence branch thwarted a human trafficking attempt at Ranchi railway station, rescuing three minor boys aged 14-16. The trafficker, Jagatpal Oraon, was apprehended after exhibiting suspicious behavior. The boys, lured with job promises, were en route to Agartala. Oraon confessed to receiving Rs 5,000 for transporting them.

Bear attack injures two in Kandhamal district
A bear attack in Kandhamal’s K.Nuagaon forest range left two villagers seriously injured. The wild animal reportedly attacked a bullock before turning on the individuals as they went to the forest. Both victims are stable after being hospitalized. Forest officials are monitoring the bear’s movements and compensation will be provided following an inquiry.
