The CBI has filed a case against Panab Kumar Baishya, a former NF Railway assistant executive engineer, for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known income sources. Baishya, who served in Silchar, is accused of accumulating over Rs 1.14 crore between 2016 and 2023.
