Chase Stegall cause of passing revealed as sudden unexpected medical condition at age 20

Chase Stegall, a 20-year-old DePaul University soccer player, tragically passed away in his dorm room on June 2, 2025. The cause of death was determined to be SUDEP, or sudden unexpected death in epilepsy. Stegall, son of CFL and NFL player Milton Stegall, was a sophomore midfielder known for his compassionate nature.
