Children Receive HIV-Infected Blood: Is Jharkhand’s Health Protocols Failing?

Following an alleged transfusion of HIV-infected blood at Chaibasa hospital, the health department is testing existing blood stock and plans to expand Nucleic Acid Test (NAT) facilities beyond Ranchi. The SOP for blood collection is also under review to prevent future incidents and ensure safe blood supply.
