Chlorine leak triggers panic at Bhiwandi plant: 5 workers hospitalized; area cordoned off

A chlorine gas leak at the STEM Water Distribution plant in Bhiwandi late Monday night triggered panic, hospitalizing five workers with severe respiratory issues. The incident occurred around 12:30 am due to a valve malfunction on the chlorine pipeline. Workers attempting to shut the valve were overcome by the fumes.
